Surface cleaning combines both soft washing and pressure washing. What is the surface area made up of? What surrounds the specific area that needs to be cleaned? When the prep work around the specific area is taken care of, then we can proceed to wash and clean the designated area. By doing a surface clean, the details, the color and overall look of a surface or object can be clearly visible again.

Large, flat areas such as driveways, garage floors, sidewalks, parking lots, pools, any type of patio and decking or outdoor tennis & basketball courts are ideal for using a large, circular surface cleaner. The surface cleaner has 4 nozzles that divides a high, incoming water pressure evenly so there are no streaks or areas that are not cleaned. A soft wash solution can be applied first to “pre-treat” the area to help loosen the dirt of the surface or even start to break down the mold or substance that is on the surface itself. Or after a surface cleaning is done a “post-treatment”, could be done to ensure there is nothing still attached or still growing on the surface. 

In the case of stone, brick, paver and block cleaning, usually what happens is the hard surface becomes dull looking or loses its vibrant look due to an overgrowth of moss, mold, lichen, rust or just plain dirt. Again a soft wash solution can be used to treat the organic growth on these problematic areas. Depending on the situation more pin point pressure washing is a good solution, especially for limestone, block walls, or very porous surfaces. On the other hand, stone walk ways, pavers and hard surfaces with very little separation between the pieces need to be treated with a solution that kills the organic growth, cleans the surface but does not break the stone(s) apart or loosen their setting.
